I bought this pattern a little bit over a year ago. I will admit that this pattern showed me I was a little bit more of a beginner than I realized. I am a self taught quilter that has been quilting for four years. I’m also an avid Catholic. There were times during this pattern that I felt like I was having to teach myself a lot of new skills. That being said, this pattern is so thorough and it breaks down exactly how to do everything that the quilt requires. Because it took me so long to complete the quilt (due to my skill level and having a baby) I did run out of one of my chosen fabrics. I made a substitution that I was really nervous about, but found that the pattern was fairly forgiving. Overall, the quilt is beautiful. I fully expect it to become an heirloom within our family. The seller goes above and beyond.
